Maverik began as a 2-pump gas station in Afton, Wyoming, in 1928. Since then we’ve opened hundreds of stores, sold millions of gallons of gasoline, and helped millions of people gear-up for adventure! Maverik fuels adventure in more than 380 store locations across 12 western states including Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. Our corporate headquarters (Base Camp) is located in the heart of Salt Lake City, minutes away from world-class skiing, hiking, fishing, rock-climbing, and plenty of other outdoor adventures.

Maverik has a variety of career adventures available within or outside of our stores. Our retail positions typically consist of Adventure Guides (cashiers and food service crew) and Lead Adventure Guides (shift supervisor), Operations Managers (assistant store director/manager), Kitchen Managers (food service manager), and Store Directors (store manager). The fuel we sell in our stores is delivered by Transportation Drivers on the Maverik Logistics team.

Our corporate headquarters (Base Camp) that supports our network of Maverik stores employs an array of people in Customer Service, Accounting, Finance, IT, Logistics, Real Estate, Construction Management and Design, Human Resources, Category Management, Marketing, and Procurement just to name a few.
