Yes. Maverik uses automated decision-making tools, including the Talent Fit assessment within Jobvite, to assist in evaluating candidates for certain roles.
These tools use data analytics and artificial intelligence to help match candidate experience and skills to role requirements.
All final hiring decisions involve human reviewers and decision-makers. Talent Fit results are never used as the sole factor in decisions.
Talent Fit helps us create a consistent and fair evaluation process by focusing on job-relevant attributes. It is one of several tools used to support our recruiters and hiring managers in identifying candidates who best align with a position’s requirements.
If you wish to appeal a decision or request a human-only review:
- Submit your request within 30 days of receiving a hiring decision.
- Send an email to [email protected] with the following information:
- Your full name
- The position title and location
- The date of the decision (if known)
- A short statement requesting an appeal or human-only review
A qualified member of our team will review your application and respond within 7 business days.

Employment Opportunities
Maverik has a variety of career opportunities available in or outside of our stores. Our retail positions typically consist of Retail Team Members (cashiers and food service crew) and Lead Retail Team Members (shift supervisor), Operations Managers (assistant store manager), Food Service Managers, and Store Directors (store manager). The fuel we sell in our stores is delivered by Transportation Drivers on the Maverik Logistics team.
Our corporate headquarters (Base Camp) that supports our network of stores employs an array of people in Customer Service, Accounting, Finance, IT, Logistics, Real Estate, Construction Management and Design, Human Resources, Category Management, Marketing, and Procurement just to name a few.

Compensation & Benefits
Maverik is invested in our employees, offering generous raises and bonuses, depending on your role. Many of our jobs clearly post the pay range. Maverik offers other things included in our compensation package include, PTO, 401k, tuition reimbursement, gym reimbursement, scholarship opportunities as well as opportunities for career advancement.
Benefits take effect on the first of the month, following 30 days of employment.

As a Maverik employee we offer a $.25/gallon discount on fuel (up to 40 gallons once a week).
YES! Maverik provides a 50% discount to eligible team members.
